What heights do you install?
All of them. Colorbond fencing comes in standard heights of 1.2, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.1 m, and 1.8 m is the most common for boundary fences.
Can you build a Colorbond fence on a slope?
Yes. Most Hills blocks slope, so it's a big part of our work. We rake the panels to follow the ground where we can, which looks cleaner, and step them where the slope needs it.
What are retaining plinths?
Plinths go in under the fence to hold back soil where one side is higher, up to 500 mm. We backfill properly behind them. They also help if you've got a pet that likes to dig under the fence.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes. We remove and dispose of old Colorbond, Pinelap, timber and fibro fences. If the old fence contains asbestos, we organise removal through our licensed subcontractor and then build the new fence.
Can you match my existing fence?
We install the standard Colorbond colour range. If your existing sheet profile is different to what's available now, we'll send you a photo of the match before we quote.
Do you do gates?
Yes. Our Colorbond gates have fully welded, powder-coated frames, made to order to suit your opening. They usually take a couple of weeks to make. Lockable latches are available as an upgrade.
What about rock?
Rock is normal in the Hills and we set posts in it all the time. Every quote includes an educated guess at how much rock there'll be, so there are fewer surprises once we start.
What do you need from me for a quote?
The rough length and height, what's being removed, any gates, and photos of the fence line. The enquiry form asks for all of it.
